  • Applicants are assessed based on additional selection factors.

  • Managed through the Express Entry system.

Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

  • Targets skilled tradespeople with work experience in specific occupations (e.g., electricians, plumbers, welders).

  • Requires meeting specific trade-related criteria.

  • Also managed through the Express Entry system

Canadian Experience Class (CEC):

  • For individuals with Canadian work experience (temporary foreign workers or international graduates).

  • Requires meeting minimum language requirements and having relevant work experience.

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs)

  • Each Canadian province and territory has its own PNP.

  • PNPs have streams for skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and other categories.

  • Applicants receive provincial nominations, which enhance their Express Entry profile.

Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP):

  • For skilled workers in the Atlantic provinces (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).

  • Requires a job offer from an employer designated by the AIP.
